It comes with 3 punching heads that are fully adjustable, so you can punch for regular letter size pages, adjust the holes for half size sheets, or remove 1 head to create a 2 hole puncher. You can also add up to an additional 4 punch heads (not included) to create 4, 5, 6, or 7 holes. Each head can be spaced as close as 1" from each other, giving you the versatility you need.
The holes on the Master® 1340PB punch are slightly over-sized, measuring 13/32", which gives you even more versatility. It will punch through as many as 40 sheets of paper* at a time, and features an adjustable paper guide that helps you achieve perfect centering for your application. The margin depth is also adjustable, so you can change how deep the holes are set into you paper, to allow for setting as far as 1/4" from the binding edge.
