Overview
Prong fasteners, also called paper fasteners, are a two-piece tool that is used to secure a stack of paper with two punched holes together. Very popular for filing, especially in medical offices, these prong fasteners are made of a silver tempered steel and come in either 3" or 3 ½" capacities. Both measure 8 ½" on center for standard two-hole punched paper. Just insert the prongs into the punched holes, fold through the second piece and underneath the compressor to create a secure bind and compress your pages to save filing space.
